About Us
We want to support vehicle owners and operators when they are considering a switch to low emission vehicle options. Our data-driven approach helps people choose a vehicle that fits their lifestyle whilst reducing their environmental impact.
CleanCar takes the guesswork out of switching to electric vehicles.
Our vehicle tracking and data analytics systems monitor customer driving patterns for 14 days to provide a solution tailored to their real-world needs. The system considers everything from charging frequency to potential lifetime cost savings to create a new vehicle recommendation. It works from a simple app, linked to an attractive user interface, driven by GPS enabled data.
The system produces clear and unbiased results, enabling customers to make informed decisions and drive away happy in the knowledge that they have made the right choice.
The CleanCar system is aimed at three main groups of users;
- Private vehicle users who want to make informed choices during the search for their new car.
- Fleet operators, who need to make critical capital expenditure decisions regarding a switch to electric vehicles.
- Vehicle manufacturers and dealerships, who want to explain the benefits of their low emission vehicles
The CleanCar system helps customers to definitively answer the questions that prevent drivers and organisations from making the switch to Electric Vehicles.
- Will an electric or hybrid vehicle be a practical alternative to my current internal combustion engine vehicle?
- Which electric vehicles are best suited to my requirements?
- Am I likely to see a cost-benefit by making the switch to an EV?
- If I switch to EV how many charge points are required?
- What, if any, are the risks associated with switching to an EV?

About Our Team

Collectively, the Directors of CleanCar have over 100 years of experience in the vehicle leasing and fleet industry. We have worked, and continue to work closely with businesses of all sizes – from individuals to multinational blue-chip giants. We’re confident that unlocking accurate mileage capture releases big benefits for all clients. That’s why we founded Fleet Innovations in 2010.
Fittingly, our CleanCar system reflects many of the values of the company itself. We’re innovative, always striving to be better, and looking for ways to reduce CO2 and save the world. Our success is based on listening and observing and looking for innovative opportunities. It’s been a long and winding road to get to where we are today but it’s been loads of fun and we have learned a lot along the way.

Alex Baker
Director
My background is the fleet/finance sector where I worked for many years as well as building, developing and deploying web and app-based systems that use real-world data to help make difficult tasks easier and hassle-free.
As well as helping companies to electrify their Fleet, I am also involved in some initiatives and grant-funded projects looking at future technologies such as smart grid and Vehicle to Grid. If its electric and you plug it in and drives on the road, then I have a passion for it.
